Landscapes
For these images I wanted to show the river and the colors of the trees during the spring season. For my painting like picture I wanted to emphasize that it was supposed to look like a painting by using filters with heavy strokes. I used a claude monet image with light colors to make it seem peaceful. On my other picture I blurred the water to make it seem calm even with a rushing river behind it. I put on filters to draw the vibrance of the leaves.
For these images I wanted to convey the color and brightness of life. My first image, Similar to my photos of the river, I used a light color claude monet painting to make the image peaceful. I feel like this type of image would be something that claude would paint. My second image I used very high vibrance to show the color of life. This is why I titled it life
For these images I wanted to show a lot of contrast between them. On the left the photo is very dark and gloomy with dull colors, on the right the photo is full of energy and bright colors. The left picture has aggressive brush strokes to convey sadness and anger while on the right side it has high definition to convey clean and bright. Th picture on the left has a muddy river which furthers the theme. The picture on the right has a bird house which also continues the image.
These two images are completely different even though they are both taken in the same area. On the left I wanted to convey a dream like state. With crazy colors it shows that this could not be real. I used a color full image from claude money to create this affect. My other image is very real capturing the movement and fluidity of water as it hits the rock. This was my representation of the famous photo of a huge wave hitting the light house in France. This is supposed to represent standing up through adversity
For these images I wanted to show landscape in a completely different way then I done with my other pictures. Unlike my other pictures I wanted to show small detail. On the right I made the colors pop out. I also enjoyed that picture because it captures the movement of the wind. On the left is just a basic picture of a small branch attached to a tree. This symbolizes that even the smallest things build up into something.
